About Me

I was the little kid who played school during the summer, by gathering (dragging) all the neighborhood kids and my little sister to be my students. Yep, I always wanted to be a teacher.

I lost my mom to cancer when I was 11 years old. When I grew up and became a mom, this disease “cancer” that took my mom from me propelled me forward to learn all I could about living healthy. As a mom, there are many hats and roles to play. I didn’t want to miss a moment with my kids because of disease, lack of energy, or the results of poor eating habits. Today, with the recent passing of my Dad to that dreaded “c” disease it reminds me to keep learning, sharing, and living!

I have been a public elementary teacher, tutor, and now a homeschool mom for 17 years. And, life doesn’t seem to be slowing down any time soon!

I have had my own share of health challenges! I have overcome autoimmune issues and two of my children have experienced Lyme Disease. I understand that overwhelming feeling with the information online about health and wellness. So, if you are here looking for answers, allow me to help you simplify it all and focus on what’s important.

I applied what I learned online and from others who were experiencing good health. But, to be honest, it didn’t happen overnight. It took time and research. It took testing. As our family grew and with triplets arriving on the scene, eating healthy had to be done simply. My time in the kitchen and shopping was cut short… way short!

I started meeting other moms who were struggling with the same two issues: healthy eating AND time. With the encouragement of my husband, family, and friends, I started communicating how IT IS possible to attain both. You can do this!

I love helping moms achieve their goals & learning to just *breathe* as they do it, taking achievable baby steps, and laughing and experiencing joy in the path the Lord has us all on together.

I love the Lord & my family! I also love adoption, coffee with coffee, and as much Tex-Mex I can get staying within health guidelines. I love snow leopards, the Houston Astros, traveling just about anywhere, & mango iced tea with lime.

I especially love helping other mothers achieve their dreams and making those dreams a reality while juggling all the roles of motherhood at the same time.

I invite you to join me on Facebook. There are lots of great videos to watch, ask questions and learn.
